Leader in frozen onion production in the country and the world...
The history of our company began in 2002, when Mrs. Barbara Wegenke first rented the factory in Jarogniewice and later, in 2005, purchased it.
Since then, Mrs. Barbara has made a number of investments, partly supported by EU funds, with the goal of transforming the factory in Jarogniewice into the most modern freezing production plant in Poland.
From the very beginning, FROST focused on quality and innovation in the production process, which allowed the company to stand out from the competition. The company’s continuous development led to the decision in 2013 to build a second production plant. This is how the cold store in Olszówka was established, a twin to the original plant in Jarogniewice, built from scratch by Mrs. Barbara Wegenke.
Today, the company’s headquarters is located in Jarogniewice, but there are two factories. The production capacity of both plants is currently 6,000 tons of frozen product per month, making FROST the largest producer of frozen onions in Poland.
A clear strategy, defining frozen onions as the key product in our portfolio, remains in place to this day. This product is available all year round, which continues to stand us out in the frozen food industry.
The company has earned its reputation thanks to the careful selection of raw materials. The guarantee of European origin of our products is what distinguishes us from other manufacturers and what we are proud of.
Today, FROST stands as a symbol of quality and reliability in the food industry, proven by our annually renewed IFS and BRC certifications.
Over the years, the company’s product range has evolved. Today, in addition to onions, which are available in various forms: organic, red, fresh peeled white, we also freeze shallots, zucchini, pumpkin, rhubarb, tomatoes, and peppers.
All products are available in industrial packaging (bags, cartons, octabins), as well as in distribution and retail formats.
